Bonjour mes amis!
As you know, I am preparing to embark on my Parisian journey, and avant mon voyage...(before my trip)...I just wanted to invite everyone to check out my blog, as it will serve as my journale publique!
As a disclaimer, I do not consider myself to be some pretentious traveler who thinks the world should have an utmost interest in my daily activities, but nonetheless, I'm looking forward to sharing my stories from my internship, cultural immersion, and otherwise with anyone who is interested in reading! This will also help me manage my own thoughts and experiences in the future, of course. Bien.
As far as language goes, I'm going to stick to English primarily with some random French references I'm sure (I'll save the 'real' French for my private journal) but, as you all know, I'm not so good at censoring my language, so pardonnez-moi if you see some four-letter words. As Vince Vaughn says in Old School..."EAR MUFFS!"
My flight is scheduled for this coming Monday assuming Iceland's volcano stops erupting (really..a volcano? it just HAD to erupt last week, right?) I'll be sure to update as often as I can, but not in an annoying Facebook manner ("I just ate a baguette." "I'm le tired.") I promise I'll try to write about cool, interesting things...because I'm cool and interesting. Duh. ;)
OK, enough for tonight. I need to do laundry or something productive. Looking forward to blogging and sharing with all of you cats. A la prochaine!
