Nothing too crazy happened today...just had a busy day at work since we are getting the new batch of 70+ students on Sunday!
Laurie is coming to visit for the weekend, and we booked a hotel in a nice area of Paris with direct métro lines to the Eiffel Tower (which is part of the plan for tomorrow), and from there, we will take the train to Versailles for the afternoon!!
This morning, I left the flat to head to work, and I had to carry my weekend bag with me. For those of you who know me well, you KNOW this bag is like ohhh...half my size. Imagine my crazy ass lugging this huge bag through one of the busiest cities in the world; it was surely a sight to be seen. I rode the métro as usual and, as I am 1 and 1/2 times my size, I accidentally bumped a man, and presumed to frantically apologize to him..........IN ENGLISH! He looked at me like I had four heads. I forgot to speak French. Luckily this was near my stop, so I just shadily and quickly walked off the train.
I'm currently sitting in the hotel room waiting for Laurie to arrive, and as I am eating a tuna sub (from Subway. I suck.), I see Justin Bieber ("The Beeb") on this French tv show called "Le Grand Journal." He looked like a lost puppy. This actually made me feel better about being a dumbass this morning. Sorry, Beeb.

Ahhh, I do that ALL THE TIME (apologize in English)! I bump into people in Mexico and I'm like, "Oh, I'm so sorry! Excuse me! . . .wait . . .con permiso! Permiso!" Haha, uuugh. Mike's like, "Baaaaby!" Sigh! No worries, mon amie! & I LOVE your pics!
